New independent cafe; Ground Floor, approached us with only a name and a clear desire for a warm, quirky and welcoming identity. As a start-up, they needed a full brand world built from scratch—from logo and typography to illustration, packaging and signage. Our direction centred on creating a cosy, characterful visual language that felt handcrafted yet polished, using a muted palette of sage greens and warm neutrals, expressive typography and playful line-drawn illustrations to bring personality without overwhelming the brand.We developed a cohesive identity that could live seamlessly across every touchpoint, including takeaway cups, menus, in-store signage, window graphics, digital templates and social content.
The result is a fully formed, practical and memorable brand that gives the café a distinctive presence from day one—inviting and perfectly aligned with the relaxed community atmosphere The Ground Floor set out to create.
